How does Votel connect a visitor's page views, ad clicks and link clicks to one person?
Votel has a built-in identity resolution platform. People arrive with many different IDs from many sources, such as a Facebook click ID or a Google click ID, and Votel unifies them all to one person.
When someone visits and we do not know who they are yet, we still store their page views. When they sign up and we know who they are, we go back and link their IDs to all of their past activity. The same applies to the visitor ID and to clicks on Google or Facebook ads.
Every link sent from the system is tagged with a special parameter, so a click on that link is known to be that person, and their ID follows them as they move through your pages.
This identity data feeds the dashboard page view data, the visit activity that shows which pages a contact visited when you open the contact in Conversations, click tracking for traffic sources such as Facebook ads and Google ads, the Facebook Conversions API (CAPI), and Google Ads and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) server side measurement with built-in events.
